Latest News...We welcome Darren Philp!

Well, it has been some time since i last blogged, yes you can assume we have been busy, and yes, you would be right. One of the things that has taken a lot of time to get on the go is the new addition to the team. Darren Philp comes on board in a week as sales/business development representative. Darren brings a whole new skill set with him that as a team we can all utilise and grow with. We are extremely excited to have Darren come on board and we definatley look forward to seeing him develop our business and team.

Other things on the Go....

Well we are just doing the finishing touches on a 15 Classroom install at Brisbane Boys College. It was a project that went pretty smoothly in all. Once fully completed, the system will be completely manageable and monitored from the IT office. The School Bells, intercom and streaming of audio from remote locations will also be achievable as we go forward with this project. There will be more coming on this project and we hope to post some photos of what we have achieved so far for them.

We are very excited to announce that "The Big Picture" has been nominated in the "Australian AV industry awards" for the category of "Technology in the Classroom for K-12" at the Integrate expo at the end of August in Sydney, we see this as a testimony to our on going efforts to work with reputable suppliers and developing a business that strives to be better and do better at every job we do. So we cross our fingers and hope we can do well there.

Clayfield College has employed the services of  "The Big Picture" to complete a 10 classroom project, with fit off starting in the next couple of weeks. Once again the technology delivered there will be state of the art classroom equipment with the addition of Promethean interactive whiteboards in every classroom. This project has been in discussion for well over 12 months and we look forward to delivering everything and more for the team at Clayfield College.

Last but not least... ITS ON AGAIN!!!!!

The Big Picture, along with Serenity IT are running another expo, after such great success last year we are keen to run it bigger and better than last years. It looks to be set for October 13th, but we will update more as we secure dates and venues. One thing is for sure though, this will be an event not to be missed, Watch this space.
